Client-focused Services

Our multi-disciplinary team and partner training organisations provide a range of wraparound client-supports including education, skills-based training and Community Employment (CE).

The Joint Agency Response to Crime (JARC) Programme is an initiative between An Garda Síochána, the Probation Service, the Irish Prison Service, and the Department of Justice. It aims to work with persons who have offended, by supporting them to address their behaviour and make positive decisions about their life.

Bridge (Change Works) is a multi-agency approach, under the JARC model, working with people with a history of violent offending and supporting them to bring about sustainable change in their lives. At Bridge, JARC clients meet regularly with their Probation Officer and have access to a key worker, who works collaboratively with them on their care plan. Clients are also given the opportunity to address their addiction, education and employment needs through the CE Scheme, Back to Education & Training Initiatives, Recovery Education, and employment with our social enterprise, Clean Slate.

Bridge offers a flexible learning programme to meet the individual needs of participants. On arrival into the centre participants will first be offered an Educational Assessment which will give us a sense of education to date. From there we will devise a timetable of attendance based on the participants individual goals. We offer a range of QQI courses and Back to Education Initiatives. These include:

  • Personal & Professional Development
  • Computers
  • Career Preparation

As part of our holistic approach we also provide a recovery programme. Our dedicated Recovery Educator delivers support through recovery groups, and also works with clients on individual plans. Our goal is to help our clients throughout their recovery journey, offering them constructive and non-judgemental support every step of the way.

Our CE Scheme is targeted at men and women over 21 years of age with a history of drug addiction and/or the criminal justice system. Designed to promote confidence and self-esteem and to provide our clients with the experience they need to succeed in the workplace.
